Ha! Ha! Thanks for the chuckle.
LAURIE!!! Where do you get fresh figs in KS?!!!! I’ve always wanted to try a fresh fig but didn’t think any grew here.
Hi, Veronica. We have a wonderful pair of produce stores: Eastside and Westside Markets. The owner buys locally when she can. She also must purchase from small producers because her fruit is so much better than in other stores.
lovely salad styling!
Thank you, Stacey!
That looks exquisite – so clean cut!
Thank you! I made sure to use my sharpest knife on the figs.
This looks lush!
Thank you! I could hardly wait to finish photographing it so that I could sit down and eat it.
Beautiful presentation, Laurie! I love the plate too…
Thank you, Amy! I’m developing quite a collection of one-of-this and one-of-that plates for my food photography.
I’m afraid that I would have eaten all the raspberries before they got near a salad. Looks tasty though.
I think that when I make this salad my serving size is twice what makes it onto the plate : )
