Thank you to A Word In Your Ear for issuing this week’s A Word A Week Challenge …Unexpected.
When visiting the Adirondacks recently, I was surprised to see how high the water was at the lake on which my relatives live – 3 feet above normal for this time of year. This photo is of a neighbor’s dock, or rather, where the neighbor’s dock should be; the dock itself is submerged under water.
So nice to see there is plenty of water in some places. Despite all this rain, our pitiful Arkansas river still has huge dry areas in the middle. 😦
Hopefully it will be back to normal soon!
3 feet above normal… is high. Has it been too much rain for plants?
Everything looked very lush, but some plants had a little stress from too much rain.
One week we had 9.5 inches! Lots of rain this year…feast or famine!
Isn’t that the truth!
