I don’t have anywhere suitable in my garden for bearded irises, but when grown well, as here, they are glorious harbingers of summer. Well done Laurie….not even a little bit envious!
Fabulous, romantic, antique colours. I like how you grow them in nice big drifts of the same colour. They have so much more impact. Yours beat anything on display at Chelsea last week – the weather has been far too cold both here and in France so most were still in bud
