An original cocktail that calls to mind enjoying a shady porch on a hot summer’s evening.
Shady Porch Cocktail
1 1/2 oz. mint-infused vodka
1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
1/2 oz. mint simple syrup
3 to 4 oz. Ginger Ale
lime slice and mint sprig for garnish
Fill a cocktail glass with ice. Stir together vodka, lime juice, and simple syrup. Pour over ice. Fill glass with Ginger Ale. Gently stir. Garnish with lime and mint.

Hi Laurie…
I personally don’t drink… but I love your picture. It looks so fresh.. 😀
Thanks for the note, Bebe. You could leave the vodka out of Shady Porch and have Gingerale with lime juice and mint simple syrup. Or maybe you might like the Minty Lemon Limade which is non-alcoholic. I’ve been enjoying your blog!
Sounds so good for a nice day! I might try this with my mint infused bourbon. Thanks for the inspiration!
Let me know how you like it with bourbon, if you get a chance. I plan on making some of your coffee bourbon. I enjoy your posts!
Hi Laurie, we tried the cocktail with Mint-infused bourbon, and it was FABULOUS! I hope you don’t mind if I post it on Boozed + Infused. I will track back to you and your genius cocktail!
Thanks, Alicia! So glad that you enjoyed the cocktail!
