So far this year, it has been a very mild autumn here in Manhattan, Kansas, allowing for an extended period of color in the garden. The weather, the last few days, has been grey and damp, with rain on and off. So the colors are really showing up in bright contrast to the skies. Here are a few pictures that I took this morning. I hope that you enjoy them!
Wishing you a beautiful day!
Spectacular!
I love these pictures – just gorgeous!
I can’t make up my mind as to whether it is a plus or a minus to see such good colour so late in the year. I can definitely decide that your pictures are gorgeous.
Thank you, Mr. Tootlepedal. Our low temperatures are supposed to turn quite cold over the weekend, so I am thankful for the warm weather while it is here.
Exactly our position.
Your pictures are just beautiful. My garden is completely gone.
Thanks for the note. Fellow gardeners can appreciate how nice it is to have a few extra weeks of color at the end of the season.
Beautiful photos! Had been wondering if the B&B had sold.
Thanks for the note, Anne. We’re still here. Sorry that I have been remiss about posting!

Thank you, Sue. I always miss the garden over the winter, so it is nice to have it hanging on for a bit.
So beautiful!! Great way to wake up!
Thank you, Dana. I hope that you had a great day!
