sooooo pretty! i love that flower…
did I ever share my story about how I grew those in massachusetts? one year, right after one identical to yours had just opened, a lady walked by with her dog, who trampled the damn thing and broke off the stalk! Do you believe she didn’t even say sorry, despite seeing me working in another area of the front yard, AND seeing what her animal had done! Oh boy was I ever steaming! This all happened in summer 2009 and I moved in December of that year, so I never saw that flower in my yard again!

Oh, dear. I was hoping for a happy story. I used to have some white bleeding hearts that just stopped coming up one year.
Mother Nature really does a beautiful job. I use to have white ones. I hope your headache went away. Mom
I have the pink ones on the side yard, still; but the white ones that I used to have out front disappeared.
