I thought that these Queen Elizabeth roses from City Park were just beautiful and so perfect for this week’s challenge from A Word in Your Ear. Thanks for the pink challenge! For more pink from me, see yesterday’s post A Dainty Little Cake.

The Queen Elizabeth is one of my favourite roses. Although we don’t have them now, at our old place we had (old) plants which had grown six to seven feet high and produced beautiful blooms.
There is a grouping of QE roses in City Park which is very pretty. I don’t see them sold in nurseries, though. I guess they just aren’t trendy enough.
The pink tonal values on these roses are so pretty.
I’m glad that you think so too : ) Have a lovely day, Laurie!
