This is Peachy, shortly after my husband and I adopted her through a rescue agency. I love this picture because she seems to be sleeping so peacefully, her dream of a good home fulfilled.

Thought about your little pumpkins over the weekend as nearly rescued one myself as I didn’t want him to fall into the hands of dog fighters but fortunately he’d found a home which is just as well as we currently have four rescue cats and 1 dog but there’s always room for more ….
